Start hydrating 72 hours ahead — well-hydrated blood draws better and yields a richer concentrate, while high triglycerides show up as "milky" blood that degrades quality. For about a week, pause anything that thins the blood — aspirin, NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, the class that includes ibuprofen), fish oil — unless a blood thinner is prescribed, in which case don't stop it and tell us instead. Skip alcohol for 24 hours before, and tell us about any bleeding or seizure history.
We draw one to several small tubes depending on the plan, spin them slowly, and carefully draw off your ezPRF — the amber top layer.
